While at home, \u003cstrong\u003eBell\u003c\/strong\u003e was cutting more solo tracks at Ardent, one of which, “\u003cstrong\u003eYou And Your Sister\u003c\/strong\u003e” needed a harmony vocal, so he called in\u003cstrong\u003e Alex.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003eFans have long thought that was the last recording of \u003cstrong\u003eBell and Chilton\u003c\/strong\u003e collaborating in the studio, but within what was probably a few days of that session, they were in the studio together again, with \u003cstrong\u003eBell\u003c\/strong\u003e engineering a set of demos for \u003cstrong\u003eAlex.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eChilton\u003c\/strong\u003e laid down early takes of “\u003cstrong\u003eMy Rival”\u003c\/strong\u003e (later re-cut for the \u003cstrong\u003eLike Flies On Sherbert\u003c\/strong\u003e album) and “\u003cstrong\u003eAll Of The Time”\u003c\/strong\u003e (later re-cut for the \u003cstrong\u003eSinger Not The Song EP\u003c\/strong\u003e and\u003cstrong\u003e Bach’s Bottom\u003c\/strong\u003e album) as well as the then unissued tracks, “\u003cstrong\u003eShe Might Look My Way\u003c\/strong\u003e” (which first appeared on co-writer \u003cstrong\u003eTommy Hoehn’s\u003c\/strong\u003e 1978 album, \u003cstrong\u003eLosing You To Sleep)\u003c\/strong\u003e and \u003cstrong\u003e“Windows Hotel”\u003c\/strong\u003e. Unfortunately, working together was not in the cards, nor was a \u003cstrong\u003eBig Star\u003c\/strong\u003e reunion of any sort.\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eOriginally issued as a limited 10\" EP for 2019 Black Friday\/Record Store Day, this rare collection of \u003cstrong\u003eChilton\u003c\/strong\u003e music now makes its 12\" debut.
