Mogwai – Atomic OST (Vinyl)

In 2016, Mogwai reworked a version of the soundtrack to Mark Cousins' documentary Atomic: Living in Dread and Promise. This was their fourth soundtrack (the previous one being the excellent music for the French zombie tv series 'Les Revenants') and picks up where the krauty electronic wash that coloured Rave Tapes left off.

Atomic sees the band brandishing some of their most compelling work to date. If you are impatient, you’ll dread wondering if some of the songs are going anywhere, but most listeners will be fully rewarded with the promise that even the most ominous music on here is leading up to something transportive.
