Even when \u003cstrong\u003eUbu\u003c\/strong\u003e break into \u003cstrong\u003e“What Became of the Drunken Sailor”\u003c\/strong\u003e in the closing stages of \u003cstrong\u003e‘Caligari's Mirror’\u003c\/strong\u003e you go along with it as it all makes sense, in a perverse way.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTo some\u003cstrong\u003e Dub Housing\u003c\/strong\u003e is as good as \u003cstrong\u003ePere Ubu\u003c\/strong\u003e ever got, and next to \u003cstrong\u003eThe Modern Dance\u003c\/strong\u003e its\u003cstrong\u003e Thomas\u003c\/strong\u003e and co at their purest, pushing boundaries in composition and what a singer could be. \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor this reworking, \u003cstrong\u003ePaul Hamann\u003c\/strong\u003e at Suma has transferred from the original 2-track analogue mix tapes to digital at the highest resolution available, which is at least four times the resolution of the original. The tracks have carefully been re-mastered by sonic architect \u003cstrong\u003eBrian Pyle\u003c\/strong\u003e so as to capture the unique qualities within.
