Otherwise, the album further refines \u003cstrong\u003eStereolab's\u003c\/strong\u003e talent for obsessive one-chord drones mated with krautrock-style rhythms, Astrud Gilberto-inspired vocals, marxist themes and analogue synthesisers. The synthesis of these elements is best exemplified by the overwhelming \u003cstrong\u003eNihilist Assault Group\u003c\/strong\u003e and the lovely\u003cstrong\u003e Des Etoiles Electroniques\u003c\/strong\u003e.
