The great 50s R\u0026amp;B songwriter \u003cstrong\u003eJesse Stone \u003c\/strong\u003eprovides a rocker for the much-admired \u003cstrong\u003eJimmy Breedlove\u003c\/strong\u003e and a super-catchy \u003cstrong\u003e‘This Morning\u003c\/strong\u003e’ for an unknown mixed vocal group that has a joyous gospel feel. Jesse also penned \u003cstrong\u003e‘Private Eye’\u003c\/strong\u003e, a classic early 60s story-song, for \u003cstrong\u003eBuddy Wilkins\u003c\/strong\u003e which was issued on\u003cstrong\u003e Al Sears’ Tri-Ess \u003c\/strong\u003eimprint.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere are three cover versions. \u003cstrong\u003eVermettya Royster’s ‘All Around The World’\u003c\/strong\u003e is backed by \u003cstrong\u003eJames Brown’s \u003c\/strong\u003e1961 band, while \u003cstrong\u003eRoosevelt Lee's \u003c\/strong\u003e1970 update of the 1947-originated ‘\u003cstrong\u003eHey Little Girl’ \u003c\/strong\u003efunks the tune up a la Godfather of Soul.
